LOTIS

LAND OVERLAYED ON TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION SYSTEM

DATABASE IS LIVE | 1.15.2020

Introducing a singular lens for transportation and land use planning.

Overview

The LOTIS database uses highly-precise baseline transportation and land use datasets in conjunction with a series of first-of-their-kind geospatial algorithms to provide urban planners, GIS analysts and land developers with the tailored analytics they need to make sound decisions in an ever-changing urban environment.

As part of LOTIS, a series of land use and transportation ArcGIS applications have been developed with the goal of improving bicycle and pedestrian mobility, transportation network safety, location-intelligence and livability in Metro Orlando, culminating in specialized tools that analyze transportation network safety deficiencies and land use opportunities within a single data frame.
