This course follows FEMA's G-402: NIMS Overview for Senior Officials (Executives, Elected, & Appointed) curriculum, accomplishing the below goal. It will incorporate a review of FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) and Public Assistance (PA) and provide a breakdown of disaster declarations. Certificates available upon completion. The purpose of this course is to familiarize Senior Officials (executives, elected and appointed officials, city/county managers, agency administrators, etc.) with their role in supporting emergency management within the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
