The ECFRPC is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of our natural communities and resources.
As part of the environmental planning and natural resource management, the planning council focuses on greenways and trails, scenic byways and the protection of the “Natural Resources of Regional Significance.”
Regional Announcements
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has designed a new watershed education website. The purpose is to serve as an educational tool about the water resources in Florida and to promote awareness of the various restoration activities and opportunities throughout the state. The site includes overviews of each major watershed in Florida, along with the latest restoration news and interactive maps to help citizens locate common features within their watershed boundaries.
