Better design with nature conserves natural ecosystems. How do we do it? Innovative planning tools need to be utilized in order to implement the 4 C's of the regional vision (Conservation, Corridors, Centers and Countryside).   Conservation Subdivisions are one such tool.  The East Central Florida RPC is developing model ordinances for conservation subdivisions. One model is being developed specifically for the Volusia Council of Governments.
